By downloading, installing, or using FLINCH, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Service Description

FLINCH is a reaction-training mobile application that presents users with audiovisual stimuli (jumpscares), measures their physical reaction via device sensors, assigns a flinch score, and generates shareable video clips.

Scare Content Consent

By using FLINCH, you acknowledge and consent to the following:

• The app will present sudden, startling audiovisual content (jumpscares) including loud sounds, sudden images, and haptic feedback.
• You use the app at your own discretion and risk.
• You are responsible for ensuring the app is used in a safe environment.

Health Warning

FLINCH contains flashing lights, sudden loud audio, and startling visual content. Do not use this app if you have epilepsy, photosensitive conditions, heart conditions, anxiety disorders, or any other condition that may be adversely affected by sudden startling stimuli. If you are unsure, consult a medical professional before use.

User Content

Clips generated by FLINCH are your content. You retain all rights to your reaction videos. By sharing clips, you grant FLINCH a non-exclusive license to use shared clips for promotional purposes only when the FLINCH watermark is visible.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use FLINCH to frighten or harm others without their consent.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app.
• Use the app for any illegal purpose.

Limitation of Liability

FLINCH is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the app, including but not limited to physical reactions to scare content, dropped or damaged devices, or emotional distress.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
